The Whalebone
The Whalebone was built circa 1840 and is situated close to Norwich City Centre. Careful restoration has taken place over a period of time and historic features which include an original counter and back bar fitted by Bullard and Son, one of Norwich's finest and sadly passed Breweries, is a feature of the front bar. Other more recent additions are a spacious classic design Conservatory Bar and heated Terracead area.
The Whalebone is notorious for the range of Cask Ales available , generally ten. With Cask Marque Accreditation and inclusion in the CAMRA Beer Guide quality is always of prime importance to Karen & Steve Fiske mine hosts.
In addition a large selection of draught beers and lager are available plus an interesting selection of bottled beers from around the world. To compliment your choice a quality selection of wines may be ordered by the glass or bottle.
Freshly made Coffee is always available
- HAPPY HOUR Monday - Friday 5.30pm - 7.30pm is always popular with our customers with reductions on most Beers and Wine
- SKY SPORTS is available in the Bar for all major games and matches .
