Freedman
The Freedman public house is set on a private / council estate, the whole estate is named after the abolishment of slavery as are all the roads on the estate, you can find us at 112 St. Mildreds road.
The Freedman is a local’s pub, where the locals come to drink and socialize, we have male & female pool teams, darts teams, a fishing club, and a football team but sadly due to the non smoking in public houses we have lost our cribbage team. During the week we have our teams and at weekends we have music and charity events.
We have now started a Social Club which gives every member at least 8% off every £1 they spend. This is very successful in the present economic climate.
Our new kitchen is now open with great meal deals, Check out our website for more details.
We have a WII games console attached to a big screen, internet access and poker is also available along with our 2 pool tables.
The U.E.A is just down the road from us and we do encourage students to use the pub. Our licensing hours are 10am to 1am Monday to Thursday and Sunday, Friday and Saturday we have a 3am license. We do not allow entry after 11pm.
Our function Bar is very popular and can hold up to 70 people, we have a resident d.j who knows how to get your party rocking, for more information Email: ian@freedmanpub.com or Tel: 01603 451708
