Local Charities

Norwich Inns Members not only provide a professional service throughout the County but also raise, with the help of their customers, valuable funds for local Charities. Over the past years we have raised many thousands of pounds for Marie Curie, BIG C, Break, EACH (East Anglian Children’s Hospice), NNAB (Norfolk & Norwich Association for the Blind), It’s On The Ball Keeping Abreast, plus many other smaller but equally deserving causes. Our main recipient during 2017 was SERV Norfolk (Blood Bikes).

This year our dedicated Charity for 2019 is The Benjamin Foundation.The Benjamin Foundation was established in 1994 following the tragic death of Benjamin Draper in a motorcycle accident. His parents, Richard and Vanessa, wanted to create something special to celebrate his life.

Initially our charity began by delivering rural youth services in North Norfolk, and has expanded the services and location over the last 25 years.Today we provide a diverse range of services which are all driven by the needs of local people in Norfolk and Suffolk.We help people across Norfolk and Suffolk to deal with some of the challenges that life throws at them.We deliver a range of services to support local people, including working to prevent youth homelessness, helping families to build stronger relationships, offering emotional wellbeing support and providing positive activities for young people with limited opportunities in life.We want to end youth homelessness and we’re tackling the problem locally by providing a home and support to over 100 vulnerable young people.In 2017, we provided over 40,000 safe nights accommodation for young people aged 16-25.
